Gabriela is a Beauty and Special Effects makeup artist, specializing in character design. From an early age she was fascinated by the characters found in Tim Burton and Wes Craven films. The beauty found in print issues from W Magazine, Vogue, and Bazaar would also help elevate their artistry even further. It was this fascination with Beauty, Fantasy, Horror, and Sci-Fi that she began exploring the worlds of creative expression and art.  

   

   This enhancement with creative expression and art led her to study at Makeup Designory, NYC, completing the Master of Make-up Artistry program. After that program she was accepted into the I.A.T.S.E. Entertainment Makeup Artist Training program, which was led by professional makeup artists who are currently working in the industry. It was during this intensive training that Gabriela designed for a series of beauty and fashion shoots and designed a range of characters for SFX. 

    

     Gabriela looks forward to evolving and refining her art and designing more intricate and magical characters for projects in Film/T.V. and Print.

    Fun fact, before becoming a full-time makeup artist, Gabriela danced professionally for a number of years and studied Improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
